  1. On this Website click any ‘Make a booking’. Button.
  2. Choose your course from drop down list box. RMDL, PWCL Weekday or Weekend.
  3. Choose your practical day on the interactive calendar. (First number is bookings/second number is total courses – example 2/7 means 2 places booked from 7 available)
  4. Pay via PayPal as a guest.  No requirement to be a member. Visa and Mastercard accepted.
  5. If you prefer NOT to use PayPal we accept payment direct to ANZ bank call Lee 0414747873
  6. Make sure you receive your confirmation email and read the important information.
  7. Complete your included online theory on the URL within your confirmation email.
  8. Remember 72 hours’ notice required for any changes to booking, to avoid extra fees.
  9. Complete your online theory course 100% before arriving at your on water practical day.
Arrive promptly at VMR Southport training rooms at designated time (Normally 7am). You will firstly complete your CAT (Common Assessment Test) multi choice quiz in the classroom setting. Then on successful completion of CAT you will be doing your training and assessment on the Boat or PWC. Day normally starts at 7am and completes mid-afternoon.

If you are under 16 you will need to have your parent or guardian sign your application form. Please reach out to BLQ for a copy of BLQ application form.

We are passionate about Marine Training. We always want to help you obtain your marine licences. BLQ allow a FREE second day attempt of unsatisfactory CAT or Practical assessments – conditions and notice periods apply – information can be found here – Variations and Charges from Standard Bookings

You must be 16 years old to drive a recreational vessel that requires a boat or jetski licence.

No . In Queensland your RMDL and PWCL last for life

Yes, you will need to take the final certificate given to you after your practical assessment to a QLD Transport office and get them to add it to your license. However, it is a stand-alone license so you do not require a car license to hold a marine license.
