Please contact if you are running late. The class will start without you if you are more than 15 mins late. There are Tea and coffee and toilet facilities in VMR. Bringing excess items is not recommended as there is limited storage on the vessel. You will be asked if you have completed your online theory completely and you must sign a medical declaration before we begin the practical testing.

- On this Website click any ‘Make a booking’. Button.
- Choose practical LOCATION Gold Coast or Brisbane.
- Choose your course from drop down list box. RMDL, PWCL Weekday or Weekend.
- Choose your practical day/date on the interactive calendar. (First number is bookings/second number is total courses – example 2/7 means 2 places booked from 7 available, 5 places left)
- Pay via Credit/Debit Card Stripe or PayPal as a guest. Visa and Mastercard accepted.

- Make sure you receive your confirmation email and read the important information.
- Register your included online theory.
- Remember 72 hours’ notice required for any changes to booking, to avoid extra fees.
- Complete your online theory (4 to 6 hours.) 100% before arriving at your on water practical day. Non completed theory will result in cancelled practical and extra fees.
Arrive promptly at your practical location . Time and directions on your confirmation email. Depending on weather first you will complete your CAT (Common Assessment Test) 40 question multi choice quiz in the classroom setting. Then on successful completion of CAT you will be doing your training and assessment on the Boat or PWC. Day starts early morning and completes early to mid-afternoon. Wear suitable clothing and shoes for the weather.

No . In Queensland your RMDL and PWCL last for life
Yes, you will need to take the final certificate given to you after your practical assessment to a QLD Transport office and get them to add it to your license. However, it is a stand-alone license so you do not require a car license to hold a marine license.

Gold Coast is held at VMR Southport training rooms at Muriel Henchman Drive, Main Beach next to Sea World Hotel. Practical aspects on the Broadwater Gold Coast Brisbane is held at Manly Marina. Practical aspects on Manly Marina and Moreton Bay near shore smooth water.
